Online Therapy in New Jersey
What is online therapy?
Online therapy, sometimes called virtual counseling or telehealth therapy, allows you to meet with a licensed therapist through a secure video platform. At Bloom Therapy Works, clients across New Jersey can access professional therapy from the comfort of home.
Do you only see clients in Voorhees, NJ?
No. While Bloom Therapy Works is based in Voorhees, NJ, all sessions are held virtually. That means we can provide online therapy to anyone located in New Jersey, regardless of where you live.
Who do you specialize in working with?
We provide counseling for young adults, parents, and moms. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, postpartum support, maternal mental health, parenting challenges, grief, and life transitions.
Do you offer postpartum or maternal mental health support?
Yes. We specialize in mom therapy and maternal mental health including postpartum depression, fertility struggles, miscarriage, identity shifts after motherhood, and adjusting to parenting.
How do I know if Bloom Therapy Works is the right fit for me?
Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of the counseling process. A good fit usually comes down to a few key things:
Do you feel comfortable and supported during sessions?
Can you be open and honest without fear of judgment?
Does your therapist listen closely and respond to your concerns?
Do you feel understood and confident in their ability to help you?
It often takes 2–3 sessions to get a true sense of connection, though sometimes you’ll know right away if the personality fit isn’t there. If that happens, it’s completely okay to make a change — the most important thing is that you feel safe and understood in therapy.
What can I expect in a session?
Sessions are private, compassionate, and personalized to your needs. Therapy is a safe space where your story is heard, your feelings are validated, and your goals matter. You’ll receive practical tools you can apply in everyday life.

Do you accept out-of-pocket payments?
Yes, we do out-of-pocket / sliding scale.
How long do therapy appointments last?
Standard sessions are scheduled for about one hour (a minimum of 53 minutes, as required by license). In some cases, your therapist may adjust the session length based on your needs and treatment plan.
If you are paying privately (out-of-pocket), the length of your session can sometimes be flexible, but the fee will reflect the time scheduled. Your therapist will always review options with you in advance so expectations are clear.
Is online therapy effective?
Yes. Research shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person counseling for most concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and postpartum support. Many clients find it more convenient and accessible.
